my car bangs the rev limiter shifting trying to shift into second at WOT and it revs past 3k just normal driving but all the other gears are just fine....so it does sound like a tuning issue for both of us

Mine also bangs the limiter at WOT into 3rd do I just need to adjust shift points? The car seems to pull really hard until then and could probably go further easily.

Well shift points depend on RPM and speed. IMO if the car hangs at rpm before it shifts, the rpm needs to be bumped up since it seems like the car is waiting to reach a mph before it shifts. If the car bangs the rev limiter before it shifts, the mph needs to be lowered. Obviously if you want the car to shift higher you have to raise the rev limiter, rpm and mph accordingly.

No torque converter.
The heads are Cartek, and yes they were expensive.

Car sounds insane when you passed that Lightning. Your numbers do seem low for a H/C but let me tell you that thing flys.

That's exatly the way I thought the race would go...Lightning pulls you out of the
hole, then you fly past him up top.

Very nice.

Maybe I'm stupid or something, but I am going to ask anyways, What are your cam spec's? You show you have a H/C package, but yet you dont list the Cam in your sig...

The only really reason I asked is that I have a 2000 WS6, tuned to 333rwhp/347 torqu, and I dont have an intake yet, but you are ony making 50 more hp, and 21 more tq.....

Yours is also a manual car...his is a automatic...and his tranny seems to have a rought time getting the shift points figured out. Also, he has 3.42 gears which is an upgrade for a automatic car and they too rob power.
