I can't quite believe this, but someone built a permanent el Camino out of a 4th gen. It cost $150,000 and looks like crap in my opinion.

Personally I love the El Camaro. I thought it was awesome when it was built back in the mid 90's. It was built by Customs by Burnt.

I'm actually working on a similar project to the el-Camaro but it will have a trunk lid. Kind of like a hard tonneau cover, but with the TA wing on it. My purpose isn't to haul stuff, it due to me chopping the top. If Customs by Burnt had lowered the roofline and added a hard cover then I would change my tune. A don't like the purple either. About the only thing I find interesting on the whole car is the little side windows they added. I wonder why they did that?

Hahaha I saw that beast on Autotrader a couple years back, I was actually thinking about buying it, taking the wheels off and selling it back because it was actually in fairly decent shape, and they were selling it for $3000 I believe. Hard to sell such a monstrosity...
