Default Pictures from big storm in TN!

Decided to try my luck with shooting lightning. These are the only ones that came out of 350 pictures I took.

It was hard as hell.

At least you got some shots...I tried to get some shots of our cars during a storm one day and they came out like a flip book...and NO lightning

Nice shots!

You were in the middle of the trees during the storm. Glad you didn't get a close up pic as it lit your butt on fire.

I was shooting in "M" mode, then took pictures as fast as my finger could move. Finally figured out how to shoot the "rapid" stuff last night.

yea try the rapid mode.. it's awesome. I can just hold it down and it takes 40 pics in a row in JPG and 20 in RAW

Last night I detailed my car and I went out to go take some night pictures. Well my camara was dead so I used a friends camara. The last pictures I took al of a sudden a bolt of lightning came down. It looked awsome. I tried to save it but the memory was full so I wasted a one an a million shot. I was soo mad.

Those are 2 great pictures, i say it was worth taking 350 times to get them. I love the 2nd one, how it looks like the lightning is running through the trees.
