7.82 is weak in the 1/8th mile lol. typical ford ****.. id like to see an ls1 on the bottle in the 1/8th launching like that. lol

7.82, weak in the 1/8. Typical know it all ****... Visit the track more and see how many GT's run in the 7's. "lol". I'm sure in some spots of the country there are plenty, but in cheatham county tennessee, you don't see too many GT's holding up to this kind of abuse. The only reason I edited and posted this was because it was the first edited clip I have ever made. I'm not a ford guy, and obviously your not either, so just admit that your car isn't as fast as the GT. Anyone can say, "Put as much nitrous on a LS1 as he did and see how much faster it goes," but if it doesn't hold up, or the guy can't drive, it's usless. "lol".....

maybe he isnt like most of the people on this site who take second mortages against there house just to make there car faster

7.82s for a gt is pretty good figuring they run low to mid 9s stock.

what do you run in the 1/8 with your mods list you wont be running much better...

Can I add to the post that is going no where? That GT probably ran 9.30 or 9.40's before the nitrous, so its doing well on a stock engine. Give it a break.

What ever happened to lethal_ws6? He's the one that started this game. The only other opinion siding with lethal is coming from a boosted mustang, who, with slicks could easily pass up the 7.80 beenchmark, and consider it a "weak" time to beat.....

Don't sweat it. I was **** broke in college. Fortunately things have
changed significantly for me. No 2nd mortgage for mods. woohoo!

7.80's isn't too shabby for that GT, but in the world of drag racing...it's
laughable.

That seems to be pretty reasonable. When I posted the video, I didn't put into prospective that Music City Raceway wasn't the only dragstrip in the US; a bad@ss GT, where I live is (considered) nothing compared to a Bad@ss GT in Illinois, and so forth.

Unit, where did you get your CE degree. A few of my friends here are majoring engineering; one chemical. I'm majoring Mechanical IT. Hopefully I'll pass the cal classes...
