no but 5th gear had a test between a c6 (ls2) vs the Viper Srt10. Of course the viper won, but not by as much as you would think with two extra cylinders and 100hp/100tq advantage. The C6 Z06 (ls7) would pound the Viper into the ground.

hmmmmm didnt seem that easy to me guys. at the same time i wanna see a hard top go against a hard top not a vert vs a hard top. anyway we all know the vette is way lighter and should be handing that viper its own ***. apparently the vette driver didnt seem to into it though but enough to win some of the races.

Yea srt10's aint got crap on a ls7.

Basically, any Viper I've raced turns out the same. The Viper has more low end torque and better traction....so from a dig or slow roll, the Viper usually pulls about a half a car ahead. Then it's a gradual game of catchup to the Viper, until about 80mph or so, and it's like the Viper falls off a cliff.........and the Z06 starts running away.
