maybe if I did this for a living I would. But since i only do it about 3 times a year.....nah.

Allen, 17's will fit but only 315 are the widest I can go without cutting the rear brake cooling duct.

315/35/17 BFG DR's are a pretty wide tire and hook pretty darn good, they wear quick though. You ever think about a small spacer and bigger studs so you could clear that cooling duct?

No but I have been thinking about taking a cutting wheel to the duct and taking a 1/4" off of it.

Nice runs to both of you.. and Jim thanks again for the ride and letting me film from in your car...your car feels insane !
Allen...you already know your **** is hot i dont need to pour more fuel in da fire
But that was some good driving buddy

now for the people complaining.....stop and think about the power and weight of this vette and tell me you wouldnt have any problem shifting the **** out of it when you dont have a good tire on it and you dont drive it alot.
The people the chimed in are right around 400hp...this vette makes almost twice what you do...so in essence driving it and shifting the crap out of it is twice as hard.
I aint saying yall cant drive, and i am not saying Jim is NHRA material....but he drives the car the way he likes and it diffenitly gets it done, and its not super slow. SO with that being said just appreciate the fast cars in this vid....and thank you drive threw.

What in the good lords name is done to that Z06?

I'd also like to add at the power levels that Z is putting out, speed shifting that thing would be asking to become one with Pensacola Bay. That thing is putting out way more then enough power to get dangerous in a hurry...I think he did a good job keeping it going safely in one lane.

Great runs guys.

Both of you have sick cars, and I think they both did a good job driving those beasts and keeping them in a straight line, thats a hell of alot of power to harness on the street.

List of mods is on my cardomain site. Thank you to those who chimed in with the shifting support. I know Im not the fastest shifter around but I do my best with what I've got.

Nice vids! Both cars roll out hard.

The stabs at the "Vette driver" are stupid. If y'all little ankle biters owned a car like that... it would be totaled in no time.

i personally was just saying he was having a bad night due to the fact he was on the rev limiter in few times....and i can imagine how fast the tires spin up when the boost starts peaking......and I sure wouldn't power shift something with that much power on the street either

cracka, no need to make it look like i am calling you all out............i am just responding to Z06phile's "ankle biter" comment. Just curious, why do you use the smile shifting gears when you seem to be driving a A4?

Oh boy. I saw this coming. Well since you challenged me... you'll have to wait until my new clutch and rear diff is installed next month. It should be ready mid-May.

Let's not hijack this thread. PM me if you want to meet up sometime.
