Default 572ci Z28 - Pics & Video!

Went to the dragstrip today, MP Dragway in Clay City, Kentucky. I went to help a couple of my buddies in the pits who were running sport compact n/a. It was a great day, didnt break anything, one of our cars won, the other was the runner up! I know yall dont really care about the sport compact class, but heres something bitchin!

LS1 Body Style Z28. BBC 572 Race Engine. Sorry, I have no idea what was all done to it, just snapped a couple quick pictures. Ran some higher 10 second passes letting out at the 1/8th. This video shows an 11.01 run.

I didnt get pics under the hood because the guy wasnt very friendly and shut the hood as I was walking up. It was def a big block, I saw the engine bay. Valve covers were the red 572 Chevrolet ones. Whether is was really a 572 is another question but I assume it was.

talked to the owner for just a few minutes and he raised the hood for us. It was a 572 crate motor with minor head work.

It is a 572, I met the owner today while I was over at Brandenburgs. I Don't know a whole lot about the car but from what I've heard it has a lot more in it than 10's.
