That is an XR6 Turbo engine. Only in AUS they are made. Their has been one imported into the USA though. Jose here at Forcedinductions has it. Engine is being completely built for drag radial car.

No its not a diesel. Just Ford's new answer to the Toyota Supra 2JZ. Jose and Jason are dropping the engine into a 95 Mustang with a big turbo and lots of spray.

Jose and Jason are using a JW blank to match it up to a TH400. The engine will be de-stroked to a 3.5 using a Billet crank, Eagle Forged rods, and JE pistons. Heads are being fully worked with custom billet cams and drilled for larger studs. The engine managment will be handled by John Meaney and BS3. The engine is $$$ to have imported, but they want to be different, so they forked out the cash for it. They will be running the car againist the Supra's on their own turf at Nopi.
