I would say more of the latter definately. I'm NOT saying there isn't any skill involved in WRC but IMO a lot of what they do is sheer luck, period. The drifting around HP turns at 30-50mph is definately skill and is something that you can work on to get better at. But these highspeed jumps through turns and such, that's pure luck no question. I can absolutely guarantee you that if the drivers in some of the shots I saw had to pick the exact same lines they took, a second time, they wouldn't make it.


IMO F1 is more "skill" involved than WRC. I think part of the requirement to run WRC is having zero common sense.
