We have some insanely smart and some insanely ignorant ppl on this board. Those that are insanely ignorant and make their comments give our nation a bad name.

I am glad they finally tested it, shows that it ain't a lightweight. It can handle its own against Europes finest. Still its fucked up how he comes up with a million things he hates about it. then i just didn't give a **** what he said when he said the steering wheels is on the wrong side. But i did enjoy it beating the fuel that runs it. Or the "7.0L of friendly-fire". But i think the Stig was struggling just to keep it on the road most of the time. Near the end he was almost going off the road if not by alittle. And that launch of his didn't help the times either. But who cares what these brits say, i love the Z06 and they are just pissed off that to even get the same performance from one of europes best they had to waste alittle more than double the Z06s price tag. We like cars that rape from a dead stop and a roll, they like theirs to beat you around a track. Well they are still searching for an answer for the Corvette Racing Teams dominance.

Or you can just watch a low res/size version here: http://media.putfile.com/Z06-90
This was on page 1, there is another link on page two, haven't used that one, so I don't know the size or quality.

to be honest I dont even mind his comments on how harsh the ride is (though he over-exaggerated by saying it's not for the road).....american muscle always comes rugged....like said above, they let you know you have control, that you're shifting hard, and the loud exhaust lets people know it's there
just because a vette doesnt have suede, and is stiff as hell doesnt make in any less fun to drive....probably makes it more fun (unless you're on shitty MN roads ugh)
let him whine...he's just afraid that GM has found a way to create a monster without breaking the bank

when he tested the CTS-V he complained about the thing the whole time but what he doesn't understand is american cars are all buisness there is nothing just for show on MOST american cars or the cars that they have tested in the past I think really the only american car that he hasn't dogged on is the ford GT just my 2c but I have not watched this one yet I decided to have my brother download it for me at his job where they have high speed

Great review IMO
Don't mind Jeremy and his comments. He was sh*tting on new M5 even more. He just likes to talk smack, but without him and his humor this show wouldn't be the same

On the actual subject of the car, perhaps driving in the US it's a great car... but it costs a lot more here in the UK (like everything) and anyone who put's up the cash for one will know, that on old, twisty roads, covered in rain whilst trying to join a motorway (70mph) from a roundabout..... the car doesnt handle as good as it should. Maybe it's the roads here in the UK or Europe, but they wont change, so it's fair to say, for Europe the car doesnt handle great. Ofcourse it's fast and great value for money and Jeremy admits that.
The interior, well I have seen worse, but as the flagship of Chevy performance, the quality in materials and fit / finish is lacking a little.
The only real problem I see with TopGear is lots and lots of people here take what Jeremy says as correct and they do not try cars out for themselves, especially US cars, which either have to be imported or bought through specialist Vauxhall dealers.. who are hard to find and Chevy does not advertise much.. if at all, to get the public interested. So who will spend all that time and effort tracking a car down, when a review was not fantastic!!
I have a 2000 Camaro SS, which gets praised everywhere I go in the UK and people always say "if only they sold them here"... sad thing is, they did... but Chevy never advertised... and most of the UK population didnt know... so Chevy and Caddy pulled out.... ofcourse now the Camaro's dead, but Chevy and caddy pulled out a long time ago.

awsome you know who really cares about the smartass remarks the basic Idea of the review is that the Z06 is the best value race car. I love when he pissed off the sports reporter on the radio

Top Gear is Car Guy entertainment. They don't have to hock advertiser's parts and crap, like almost every American car show (i.e. Horsepower TV, C&D TV, etc). They speak their minds and answer to no one except the BBC, who, despite being gov't run, allow tremendous leeway with programming that pushes boundaries. Here in the U.S. all TV bows down to the mighty advertising dollar . Sad really, we can learn a thing or two from our friends across the pond if we could be less jingoistic.
I'll keep downloading Top Gear and Fifth Gear, much better than what we got here (PINKS excluded). Don't like it, don't download, its a free country.
