Woot Woot for ravens! Mines an 05 Raven too just low sided a week ago though. No biggy though because it has character now just a few tiny scuffs. frame sliders saved its butt.

also on that video it could be a stock and quite possible older R1 that is governed at 186-190mph like most superbikes are and the busa could of had its governer off where it was doing 200+mph

I know the bike couldnt have been an r6 unless it was heavily modded because i owned one and it ran out of gear at like 165ish and if it had the gearing of a liter bike it probably wouldnt have gone any faster. You never know could have been an older r1 or built busa. Its hard to guess without being there. All the damn bikes are fast period.
One thing though i know if i was racing a 200+ lb rider on a busa and me being on my r1 at 140lbs he would have some trouble getting away but i'd rather be on the the lower bike(busa) going those speeds. I still need a damn double bubble windscreen i don't even get how they call it a windscreen on a stock r1 I cant get below it to save my life without having to look at the ground

Tell me about it. I can't tuck to save my life either but my buddy with his big grape weighing in at 135 says he can do it just fine. I guess I need to lose everything in my chest so I lay like a piece of paper on the tank

Are you serious? How can you say that there is no stock bike that will haul/handle like an R1? When Honda, Kawasaki, and Suzuki all make a bike that will do just that.

jaybob- ******* nice bike

97M6Formula- pics a little dark but the bike does look very clean, wouldnt mind see other pics.

67maro- as far as my mods on the busa... shes lowered 1.5 inches in the rear, 4mm in ther front (kinda a free mod for the busa without having to buy anything), 45 shot (only used at the strip), and PCIII which isnt on yet.... maybe this weekend, and I also have the normal appearance mods frame sliders, tank pad, etc.

Z2K_MrJ I thoguht the zx14 would be the New TOP END CHAMP over thebusa. they will DYNO like 187
Top end champ...not really. All bikes are now govern'd at I believe 186, but that can be removed. I have all the new magazines with the Busa vs. ZX-14 and they are both fast bikes. And to tell the truth the ZX14 is really only 1350 CC not really 1400 CC. Besides the ZX-14 is so damn ugly... who cares about that bike.

The ZX-14 is uglier than a ten dollar hooker. They should have just stuffed that motor in a ZX-12 and called it a day. And limiter or not, when you get that close to 200mph it takes more than a few horsepower to make the difference.

the bike in the 1st vid was at most a 2002 R1, the frame is silver, or aluminum, and it appears to be governed. The newer R1's have a black powdercoated frame, and are monsters. Busas... fast, but they are SOOOOOOOOOOOOO long and super fat to me.... I have a 2002 R6, i throw it around like a paper doll, I rode a busa and it was everything I could do to try to get used to handling it. I gave up on it and said im sticking with my lil R6, until I feel like gettin a R1.

that would be a cool pic except for the fact he has a passenger! I'm all for carrying a friend around on the back but never through a turn like that. Thats not only endangering yourself but also the other. Plus why does that ******** have his finger over the brakelever on a turn? nice pic nonetheless. I just fear that this part of a series and it shows them wiped out on the last pic.

that's why i thought it may be an R6. The frame is silver, the tank conects to the frame in the same spot, all the controls are the same, the gauges are the same. I dunno.

R1's are nice bikes. But by no means the handsdown best litre bike. It will come down to the rider. I have a Repsol CBR1000rr...and it is a little under powered compared to the other 05 litre bikes.....but I have smoked many of GSXR, R1, and many other bikes through the twisties!!

NO chicken strips here....my Pirelli Corsas are worn to the edge!!

The new 2006 CBR1000rr is on par with all the rest of the litre bikes this year....but has the most sophisticated suspension around. I have riden all the new litre bikes, and my repsol feels the most stable through the corners! The unit pro link suspension really is amazing, and I personally like the HESD. I was also a big fan of my 2004 R6...very flickable bike in the corner. I still love riding the RC51 as well...which is one of the finest handling bikes ever to be produced!

Busa for high horsepower. My dad's only has an exhaust and a K&N. That thing is nuts.

I'll rail the corners on my Yamaha DS7. Nothing like a little lightweight two stroke.

I hate to burst your bubbles r1 owner, but the baddest liter bike out is the new gixxer 1000. Pick up any magazine, and you will see why. The only liter bike that is even close to it in power is the zx10 , and it still lost by a good margin. I know you guys have a lot of pride in your bikes , but be honest with yourself. You guys on r1's dont really think that u had the baddest sportbike out there did u ? Try 3rd. You busa owners are only good for a straight line , and nothing else. You also have just about the most ugly bike on the plannet, and incase you didnt hear the zx14 distroyed the busa head to head. Yes i do have a gixxer 1000 , but its an 03. I am not bias, just honest. R1's are the nicest looking though.

my busa corners just fine for me,and i dont think there the best looking but i wouldnt say "the ugliest"bikes out there, although i wouldnt mind a new r1 the busa is just so big and im not all there so a streched and lowered bike with 200+ wheel hp (yes i did lots of motor mods) is a good idea for me
