Supposedly only people under 20 can hear this sound.

37 here and I could hear it fine with the volume level about 30-40% on small external speakers. I was actually expecting it to be a trick so I didn't get too close to the speakers nor turn the volume up the first time.
This online sound test doesn't seem to work that well. I'm looking for one which test higher than 8kHz.

the only reason you might not hear it is cause your speakers dont pick it up.But keep the thread going pretty funny to read the replies

I can hear a tv on from other rooms even if its not displaying anything or putting out sound. Its a high pitch squal type sound. I can't go to bed at night if the tv is on anywhere in the apartment due to that high pitched noise. Its a nightmare going to a best buy and going anywhere near the tv section.
