My KB Cobra engine bay pics...
so it's not very clean. I took some engine bay pics today to thank a friend
for some free parts. I thought some of you might like to see them.
Next on the mod list are Corbeau seats and an ice box. I'm contemplating
headers, but that means I'd be committing to the blower instead of going
turbo.
There's a dyno vid in my sig for those who may be interested.

Belt slip is minimal due to maximum surface area / belt wrap.

I'm going to do some more fuel system mods prior to spraying though just
to be safe.

you ever dyno while spraying yet? cant remember if you have or not.
It was Saturday night when we tuned the car and we cut it short so
we could go out. My buddy dialed it in on the blower and we called it a day.
There's still some fuel left in it, but the stock pumps are getting to the maxed
out point. So, I'll just upgrade the fuel system then spray the bejesus out
of it. I'm hoping for 138-140mph traps on a 100shot.
I have a few track vids too, but they suck ***...bad filming at night, etc.
I was working out a lot of kinks so most track vids are nothing to sneeze
at. The track is definitely different that the street. Tire height, gearing, rev
limiter, perfect amount of clutch slip, etc are all key factors where as
the street is something totally different.
I get kicked out of the track after one pass these days since I have
zero safety equipment. This thing is 100% street car.
I'll get some good footage this summer.
I'll make a point to takesome at the track and of a few highway runs or something.

I've sprayed the **** out of it while I had the ported Eaton on there.

Just more dyno vids that are all pretty similiar to the one in my sig.

Now, what do you have your rev limiter set to? I ask because 138-140 seems prety high considering the gearing.
I have 3:90's and I'm adding a 150 hp wet plate system very soon. I'm hoping to hit 130+ mph in the traps (i'm hitting 119 N/A), but I have my rev limiter set at 6800 and from what I've looked up, 3:90's at 6800 in 4th gear will top out at 133-134 tops in 4th.
Do you think 150hp shot will even give me that much MPH anyway?

long on the street. I'm very happy with them. However, I did get caught in a rain
storm on the way back from the track. The rear end kicked out about 5ft to the left
during the ride home while on the highway. That was an eye opener.

pics up today or tomorrow.

really sprayed the KB a whole lot so I don't have all the details worked out yet.
I didn't do any of the gearing / tire height calculations yet. A 28" tire will definitely
be required though. If needed, I'll drop back down to a 3.55 gear. The car sits very
low so I might have to through some different springs on in order to get a 28" tire
to fit.
one way to find out.

someday i might have a as fast as yours, some day...
