I never said any of them cant beat my car. I guess I'm just a hardcore Chevy guy that see how much of a POS fords are. I garuntee you that if you a take a 9 sec Chevy and a 9 sec Ford that the Ford guy spends almost twice as much as the Chevy guy to keep the Ford running good. Why do you think you see SOO many Chevys in american auto racing and barely any Fords? Just an example of something that reassured me a couple weeks ago. I went to a buddy of mines Machine shop and was looking at the Boring/honing machines. He had two machines and two blocks one Ford, one GM. I was looking at the shavings of both the blocks and noticed a HUGE diffence in them. The GM shavings were real fine light grey looking. The Ford shavings were real coarse, and chunky. I asked him whats up with it and he said its the quality of iron used in the two blocks and the ford is very poor quality.

03-04 Cobra's are badass cars, what other american muscle could you buy with a built motor? (Not talking C6 ZO6, talking in 2003-2004)
I have always liked f-bodies more, but if I could afford a Cobra I'd get one as well because I do appreciate them as well as many other sports cars.

I do not want to ruin this thread and get it locked up, but i will say in response to your auto racing theory, ford has been in it longer and has one alot more.
SBF's, BBF's go right along w/ the SBC & BBC, both cheap and very easy to make fast...
Like craig said, this is a car site. And right now, the 03/04 is one of the baddest cars out. A motor that can handle up to 1000 hp before it splits down the cam valley, but ****, where else can you have a motor that is built like that... you cant
for example, this car pictured below(excuse the pic, shitty phone) had a whipple, stock clutch/manifold and rearend, on BBS plasmas w/ DR's... on a soft launch went 10.28 @ 138 and that was on the pump gas tune... on his race gas tune he was making over 700~ to the ground... all the houston guys know him and he works at a shop called PSI motorsports in which specializes in F/I work.
Of course i am a ford owner, but i love the lsX motors and cars... but that doesnt stop me from getting on here. It is all about being open minded, and plus it is always good to know everything about your enemy
