I just went to Vernon cruise last weekend, and then went to the drags in Iowa Park. I didn't take my car, but had a blast. My dad just finished restoring my grandfather's old truck, who lived in Vernon, and put it in the car show on Sunday. Lot's of nice cars at both the cruise and the show. Did you go this year? By the way, nice car.

I'm from Plano, but my dad grew up in Vernon. We've been going to SLB the last three years. Since my dad just finished my Grandfather's old truck, he wanted to put it in the car show. There is a Bestwestern being built in Vernon that is supposed to be completed in October. When it's finished we're going to reserve a few rooms for next year since rooms get booked in advance, almost a year.

I'm going to bring it next year. I brought it last year 05, just didn't go to the drags. It rained in Vernon and I thought the drags were cancelled, so I didn't go. I just bought a daily driver, so I plan on doing some work to the car over the next year.
