I don't powershift my car. Tried it a few times but the beating you give your drive train isn't worth the 2 or 3 tenths IMO.
114 MPH is pretty respectable for bolt-ons.
Unit213: How can you say 114 is slow no matter what mods? If it's got only a cold air kit, 114 would be damn near impossible. 114 is good even for a stock SC Cobra.

I'll have to post a pic of my bro driving when he was 15 No license, but they didn't check it at the track.
He ran my car to a 13.25 @ 105 bone stock with 4.10's.
Then he took my car 224/224/lt's/rearend car to 12.0 @ 114.6 in 90+ degree heat at the f-body shootout at sdr right after he turned 16.. car weighed damn near 3700lbs, dynod 355rwhp.. lol.
He could drive a stick better than me in the first few weeks.. I think it's just not being scared to break it, is 90% of the battle.
Later,
Josh

Average shifts, but he has potential. Have him read this article that I wrote a LONG time ago for some tips:

This is fast shifting (right-click, save as):
