You need the ls1 just to go as fast as you did before the wing, that **** had to slow you down.
I guess it is personal preference but i would not call it a show car cause it is an eye catcher cause to most on the board it is an eye sore and would be paid no more attention than any honda.

P.S. why is it cool to see a 4banger go 13's?? When all our ls1's do that stock?

At least hes not wantting to go the import route like everyone else these days.Im not saying you have to like what he has done to the car but there is no need to make fun of it! Good luck on getting info on the swap,and you might want to try posting this in another section, the LS1 is gonna be a big difference from the v6 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

It is not that i don't want to answer the question, it just makes our cars look bad. How am I suppose to harass a ricer and flame him on the street, with a car like that anywhere around. It is not that someone likes there car, it is the trickle that comes from it. I might be on one side of town telling a ricer his qing is ugly, and he will immediately tell me, "There is a black LS1, the guy says it is a special edition, he has a wing like mine. Why don't you go harass him?" And that is not something i ever want to hear.

Kids look up to us, what we do causes them to do things when they grow up. So if they see this guy and he gets alot of attention cause his car is "COOL" then our kids will grow up to be like that. And I sure as hell don't want to see anymore mutilated F-bodies.

Please, please, please, stop helping the ricers. The pattern/theory behind ricers I have is that they rank the car on mods. On of them might do something small like add/remove a lock on something, or put a shorter antenna on, or some other 10minute mod and they will tell you about it everytime they see you. So by allowing the concept of MORE MODS=COOL (no matter how small the mod) to exsist we are making it worse.

This is just my opinion, and reasoning behind my post.

Your car looks great man. I admire hard work, and devotion to ones things. Keep it up and this swap is doable just look around others have done it. Only advice from me is don't post pics here. trying to get these non-objective people to come around is like <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" /> lol just enjoy your creation with people who understand it.

And for the person who said my car was not a show car, think agian, do you ever go to the super chevy show. Two years ago some one with a green ss, same wing and ground effects, and tail lights as mine, with many motor mods won. WON THE SUPER CHEVY SHOW. Not a stock one. And it is cool to see a motor 3x smaller than an ls1 run a 13. I didnt get a honda because i didnt want a honda i wanted a camaro. check out this web site full of people who apprectiate a car for the work put into it, my web page at cardomain. You need the LS1 pcm, wiring harness, and other things.

I would get an LS1 K frame and put it all on there and have a shop bolt the motor and trans in for you.

FYI for some V6 guys it's cheaper to do this than get a new car since the resale on their V6 might pretty low.

As far as the appearance mods go, I really don't like the taillights they look cheap. Real stuff like that was stock on Skylines (I have been there) and the taillights are much better quality than Altezzas.

I just saw Altezzas on a 86 Taurus out the window (barfing sounds).

Well bro, I give you props for trying to be different, **** if we were all the same who the hell would be the hero. I remember when I was one of the first in my town to put a huge tach, and gauges on my Trans Am. I was laughed at seriously, then everyone started putting that **** on there cars. Must admitt that I wouldnt do that to my car but everyone has there own taste, and if you think it looks cool, more power to ya. Sometimes its nice to see someone pave there own road rather than be some lame follower. Be a leader bro, but make sure that car is fast.
