7.80 @ 177mph Supra
Dude, I wonder if he wants to race from a roll?

LMAO!!
I hung with him pretty good considering all I have is headers, lid, and loudmouth
I ran the Supra in that video the other day on I-4 in Orlando. I didn't really start pulling on me until about 170 MPH. We then got off the interstate and races down an empty road. I could take him off the line and through 5 gears, but that car has a lot of top end.

Nice run, but a 7.80 Supra probably has at least 5,000 rwhp on the Dynojet since it takes 500 rwhp to run 11s

Wooo Hooo.
Well fellas, the car was on TV a couple of days ago and on the dyno the car has 1,013hp with nitrous, and 800 with just the turbo at the wheels. Don't know were you get the 500hp to run 11's, but top fuel cars run around 5,000hp and there in the 4's. Course this all has weight and aerodynamic factors as well. They said the motor was dyno'd at the flywheel at 1,400, but they were talking about how they run an automatic so they expected around 300 to 400 of a loss. Sick ride though.

The 500 to run 11's comment comes from SARCASM about Supra's not being able to run good ET's! There are some around here that have serious HP, but run some horrid times, with the exception of SW's!
As far as Top Fuel goes, those guys are approaching 7000 hp now, not 5000!
I think the AROUND 5,000 was my intention to state that im well aware of the 7,000hp now days, but most detune for traction. Hence, AROUND
Not even a supra anymore at that point Just a supra body.

...and a factory production head and a factory production block. I believe the stock crank is used as well.
Brad Brand, the owner of Atlanta chassis Dyno has went high 170's mph on a 10 inch tire, 3200ish lbs, and the stock diameter exhaust in place with his 347 Stang. This car has been driven on the street plenty of times, and made it to many street racing events for hours of fun. THAT, is impressive
