Hi,

I face same this problem, after the update my media player is working, also you need DivX 3.0 to connect the codes, this's for show the videos.

ok thanks for the help but it still does not work. i downloaded windows media 9 and divx but still no luck. i don't know jack about computers. the media player does not open then you click on a wmv file. all that happens is you get a new brouser screen with a bunch of writing. so is there a setting that is wrong in the computer or something?
thanks for the help

Try this

Right Click on the file and choose "Open with"

Then select "Windows Media Player"

Then check the little box below the choices that says "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file"

Then click OK and you should be good to go.

Something must have gotten screwed up with the associations because Windows Media Player should automatically open a WMV file. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
