x2

I'd say it's totaled.. a crumble like that in the only metal part of the car makes me wonder what happened to the frame/unibody. If it's iffy, try to get it totaled, because even though you put a lot of money in to it you're going to put a lot more into it trying to make it right. Unibody cars hate wrecks, it'll never drive the same and you'll wear tires in ways you never thought were possible.. if they don't go bald too fast

Well said, that’s why when my Z was totaled I was heart broken, but was told if they fix it, the car will never be the same. So sometimes your better off.
I wish you the best of luck

With the way that quarterpanel is badly crumpled like that without even taking the impact.... I'd say you have some bad frame damage.

I'd personally be praying that they total it.

Had a similar wreck, but with only one quarter panel wrecked. The repair outweighed the value of the car and I had to total her

It really pisses me off to hear, much less see, these type of needless wrecks. You are handeling it much better than I ever could...

Best of luck with everything.

ouch. it can be fixed though. frame damage with a collision like that is very possible but it can be put back within factory tolerances with a good shop. get that old bitch to pay for it and beat her with a walker

A good shop can fix that, assuming the car is worth more than the cost of the repair.Ive seen a c5 that basically had ever piece behind the seats replaced ,as in tranny, interior, panels ,frame etc...

I had some lady bump into me at a Burger King drive through.
I was 15 feet behind her parked, and she back right into me... at night.... in a drive through... with my lights on.

Long story short, I was Pissed.

That's sickening. I got rearended at a full stop at a yield sign 16 days after my car came out of the showroom.. What a terrible feeling. Hope the insurance company comes through for you.

I almost had a guy in a ranger turn RIGHT fuckinginto me * lane change at 65mph * talking on his sell phone

Im sorry man, I really hope it all works out, if you still have the car there, I'd grab your cam and other mods and turn it back to stock, and hope they total it.

well it's not totaled. the shop i brought it to is a very good shop and they said it wasn't going to be a problem to get everything straight. the guy that runs the shop said he thought it was going to be alot worse until they got a good look at it and it is in pretty good shape (relatively speaking).
