actually, it looks like they had already fucked with it. Notice how the interior roof panel is already out of the car theres also a cross bar that goes between the opening there IIRC...

Like you said it was a recall. Not to mention the fact daddy paid 85 for that car. GM is gonna take care of them. And as stated before, rather it come off like it did than at 160+ mph.
