I think I'm missing something here. Doesn't seem like the ideal place to mount the intercooler.

From the looks of your signature, it's definately not low on power. Any track times?

That fart can is a full 4" exhaust out of the T88 to promote heatly spool.

Yea your right. Its not ideal but it works. Air comes in the side vents and exits through a hole below the intercooler.
As for track times I dont have any yet. Looking for low 10s @ 135+ on low boost.

I dont see usable boost till mid 4k rpm. really starts flying as 5k rpm.

Oh BTW this is not an 88m turbo. This is a Greddy T88 which is really a 70mm turbo.

That's not too bad at all. How high do you spin the motor?

Ok...now I'm with you. That's a neat little setup. What is your raceweight?

Nice car, but I don't care for the exhaust (crooked fart-pipe).

Peace,
Craig.

I did the exhaust like that for a couple reasons.
1. it would not fit over the crossmember.
2. to keep it away from the intercooler

Nice setup. My cousin is picking up a 91 this week. MR2's are nice little cars. The 3SGTE is a very potent motor.
