I doubt the starter would crank the engine enough on a stock vehicle to fire it up and drive forward. You even hear the kid feathering the gas pedal as he flies thru the garage. Most likely it was in 1st gear and the kid had the clutch in when starting... then he let off by accident.

That guy got what he deserves for letting his kid with no driving skills behind the wheel. He better hope no one from the insurance company see's this video. I'm sure he tried to make some kind of phony claim.
