Sucks about the GTO though. I wonder if that car was hit while on a test drive? I know I picked my TA with 4 miles on it. After we had test drove it.

Good chance that car was hit without ever making it off the lot.

its lsited as a 1983 911 so I dont think it can be a 930 unless it falsl under the 911 somehow as some knid of submodel

Last year of the 911 Turbo (930) was 1979 in the US. No turbo Porsches were offered until the year 1986, when the 930 made it return to the US.

That car is either a european car.... Or it has been hacked up like most of them.

Which would make sense as the slantnose 930 was produced in Europe from '81-'86. Only about 180-200 of them made.

That car has aftermarket DP body work. So it was converted to the slant nose front end (fiberglass). Factory slantnose was all metal.

How much do they want for it.

Theres the DP Ekkehard Zimmerman designation. Cool.

IMO that car looks pretty rough! A mint low mileage DP factory car is worth about 62K. MINT!

That ones definately going to need lots of work. Interior looks pretty well hammered and stripped as well.

The body work to fix that car with DP parts is probably $15k. Needs to be set up on the old Celete frame jig and straightened.

Here's a nice one for sale at 49k Euro.

That ones even owed by DP!

If they paid over $50k for it...they've got issues. That one I posted above is about 62-63K US. And that's a mint factory maintained car.

Numbers as in... performance wise?

Well, that car has the full DP Motorsport widebody/slant nose kit. Entirely fiberglass. But it's also a convertible. I'd guess it to way around 2800lbs.

The car is sporting a factory airbox and filter, and a factory intercooler. Car has A/C, with no belt on it. HP numbers will be around 285HP at the flywheel.

Car's a 4 speed, they did like upper 12X in 3rd gear. They were fast as hell in their day. In 1979 they were the fastest production car.

I've driven a fully built 930. Rebuilt motor, with everything Kokeln racing makes for the car. Full suspension, cage, and some fiberglass body work (non slant nose).

It made around 470RWHP, incredible to drive. Absoloutly no bottom end, but at 3500 you'd feel it start to spool, and by 4000 RPMs the tires would incinerate. I've been in 10 second cars, but that car "felt" the fastest by FAR.

Wish I had some pictures of it. Car is insane...

Yeah that ones fairly stock, engine wise. That one just didn't have all the mods that mattered.

You can make them rediculously fast, but it costs $$$. There are a lot of those cars around, that seem like they were projects. You'll RARELY find one in mint condition. They've all been driven hard and put away wet.
