Wow, Xrated281. Look what the cat dragged in. You've been quiet on corral.

A little info on Joe's car. I don't think he's on here but if he is I'm sure he'll correct me if I goof. The guy is a class act. Very respected in the mod motor world.

Stock displacement
worked heads and intake
Forged bottom end
cams
TKO 500
150 shot.

Before he built the motor, the car went 12.40's N/A. If I remember correctly his hometown track didn't have as good DA as the track he went 10.7 at.
But the car can 60'. On the juice it's gone 1.34. Not bad IMO for such a heavy car. But the nitrous is gone..... and a snail under the hood is in the works. -Mark

Just curious, when did a nitrous motor become classified as a N/A setup?

Joe is a personal friend of mine, Great guy!

With the old setup, the fastest it went was the times in the video.. thats our local track and actually the DA's for that time of year are AWESOME. We ususally see 6000 ft DA's in July.

The fastest it went was in San Antonio I believe, which was 10.70's.

The setup was a 283ci forged motor with heads/cams and some nitrous. The trans was proshifted there I believe, but it was one of the first times he drove it like that. The car has a decent amount of weight reduction, but i'm sure its still in the 3500+ lb area. it also has a good suspension setup (like stated, it went 1.3x 60' on the bottle) and he did all the work and tuning himself.

Now it will have a turbo and nitrous.. and still with a manual.

I dont know of any nitrous ''motors'' that would make it electric . If you meant an ''ENGINE'', then it was when it fired up and rolled through the staging lanes . jesus christ ls1 tech critics .
smartass comments have no place in here .

Thats what the "just curious" was for. It wasnt meant as a smartass comment. It was directed at more people than just you.

Still doesnt answer my question tho. All nitrous motors run without the juice.

Chris81- correct me if I'm wrong but on the bottle his 60fts are in the 1.3's and N/A they are mid 1.5's.

3.27 1st gear ratio + 4.56's + 150 shot = Some serious whiplash
