My poor LT
Dont really know how I blew a hole in primary 1 of my long tube but I did. I wasnt even at WOT. I thought it was the gasket that blew since I just had the headers off doing mounts but when I opened the hood to my surprise a hole. Here ya go:

I had the EXACT same thing happen to me. I thought something was wrong with my valvetrain until I opened the hood and got slapped in the face with exaust.
For a temporary fix I just hand rolled a really thin sheet of aluminum around it and held it on there with 2 hose clamps. It actually worked really well and didn't leak at all.

flowtech is the same design as hooker since holly owns both hooker and flowtech. both use 18 gauge tubing, except the super comps which use a 16 gauge.

Ok sorry, I wasnt thinking right and yes there was a tube there. That makes so much more sense. Still sucks and doesent change the fact that it broke.

My pacesetters did the same thing except it was on the passenger side. If you used the block-off plates that they sent with the headers then that is more than likely what caused it because that thing is heavy. The engine rocking back and forth didn't help much either ( I had the same cam in my car before it burnt to the ground )
