thats funny, i guess you guys saw the one with the grand am at jiffy lube then too...

my father has worked as a tech then a service manager for oldsmobile and pontiac since 1972 or 3 and I asked him after seeing that if anyone has ever in his 30 something years of working in a shop do that or drop it off a lift, he said that he never worked in a shop with a pit, noone has ever droped a car off a lift but one time in the early 80's a guy was delivering new cars to the dealer he worked at, he was working on something and all the shop just started running, he thought someone dropped a gas tank and it was spilling all over the floor, turns out the car carrier driver was backing a new cutlass from the spot where they keep the cars over the cab of the car carrier all the way off the ramp in the back but he had left a plate of the upper ramp down and drove thcar through the plate and got it stuck facing straight down and traped the guy in the car, they had to blow out the windshield which wasnt easy to do he said...
