Agreed, I'm sure they would have taken care of the problem if it was HPE fault and done more to get the customer's business and trust back, but damn, if I had seen the vid the next day after it happened, I would have had some doubts before taking my car with them tho.

They were at fault, though indirectly. The dyno failed. Listen to the video... just before the 6 second mark. You can hear it load the engine, then let up (less resistance) allowing the nitrous to pool, and then overload the engine causing the damage. And IIRC HPE took care of the situation

There is a thread on it on this car.

Something screwed up with the dyno, nitrous pooled up. Dyno broke (don't think it had anything to do with power) and I guess the motor boged or something then after it broke all the nitrous went though (sent the shot size way higher) and blew some plug parts threw the exhaust and hurt more if I remember.

HPE replaced all of it for the owner.
