The LSA isn't the only determining factor on how the cam will sound.

Here is a link to my C5. The cam is a 232/240 .595/.610 110. The idle is set at 950 rpm's.

lsa doesn't determine the lope really. It's just the geometry of how everything works.

I have a 248/254 110 lsa and it sounds like my 230/232 114lsa on my last setup.....

lsa has a fair amount of effect on the lope...but it is not the only determining factor. Overlap, duration, and what not also effect it.

Narrowing the lsa increases overlap which is what casues lope at idle....but just because it's on a 110 doesn't mean it'll have enough overlap to lope hard. Mine's on a 110, cam has 11* overlap......idle clip:

Just for comparison, the cam in my truck (sbc) has similar duration as the cam in my camaro, but is ground on a 112, idle clip:

overlap is what determines lope!! LSA and duration combined create your amount of overlap.
