Well I was the bike rider and I was on it hard behind them both the whole way and they were pretty quick. I under estimated how quick the LT1 was and might have to run him this weekend if the weather is nice.

nice its too bad we don't have specs. FYI cammed doesn't mean **** in the lt1 world. A cammed car litterally can be low 300's or less to over 400 easily, a lot has to do with head work and supporting mods being involved. +1 for the deficit though

i love both Lt1's and ls1's. If i had found a nice Ls1 6 speed when i found my '96 i would have bought it BUT i only found Automatic ls1's for cheap and i didn't want an auto. They may usually be faster but i wanted the 6 speed. You don't buy a car like these to put it in drive and go. No fun there.~Cole~

Ive had both and the Auto is just as fun, and stall's make them a handful.
People buy them for different reasons, but dont make the mistake of thinking autos are not as fun as manuals.

This was what I was expecting....this was a run from a while ago They let off right before they get to the camera but you get the point...My roomie is the Ls1 SS lid and cat-back m6 vs some guy's 96 A4 built tranny, cai, chip, xhaust etc...) also on my HD somewhere is a vid of my nieghbor's 96 with a built 355 and taking a 150 shot running 11's in Lubbock (anyonw who lives in W. TX knows thats a def feat) So there are def. some fast Lt1's out there they just aren't very strong in numbers.... That's was my point from my post earlier

Maybe there was something wrong with the LS1 from the get go. I highly doubt that it was just cam swaps only. A Win is a Win though but lets not get a Big head.
