That's obviously extremely fast and it's a badass car. However, for 422cid and a 106...
it's way off the mark.

pretty awesome. would love to see that vette vs the viper that just recently ran 7.75 and 7.74 back to back. would be a hell of a matchup i think.

39x cid non-LSx motors with 106mm turbos have gone 6.90's @ 215mph.

So...it's definitely a badass car, but it's off the mark by quite a bit.

ur comparing outlaw 10.5 cars to a drag radial car? and most outlaw 10.5 cars are runnin larger then 390ci motors anyways. but still comparing a part or full tube chassis car running a MUCH bigger tire and a full slick to a vette on drag radials is a little pointless. and actually now that i think about it ALL of the turbo cars that have run 6.90's in outlaw 10.5 are runnin 400+ ci motors.

First off, I didn't watch this vid. I saw some footage a while back and I
was under the impression that it was a 10.5 car. My memory needs help
apparently.

Top drag radial cars are still a half second faster and trap high 190's.
That doesn't meach much though really. I already stated that this is
a badass car.

A backhalf car is nowhere near a full tube chassis car. Agreed though...
can't compare a drag radial car to an outlaw car.

Well, you're wrong on that one.

true the fastest dr cars do run 7.5's and a 7.4 i believe is where the record is there. my bad on the outlaw 10.5 stuff just read the rules. as far as the 6 second 10.5w cars i'm not sure exactly how many have run in the 6's..i know of 2 nitrous cars and 2 or 3 turbo cars (2 turbo cars for sure) that have run in the 6's. the nitrous cars for sure are 400+ probably a lot bigger. and the 2 turbo cars i know of (tim lynch and todd moyer) both run 400+ ci combo's. moyer the first time he ran 9.95 he was runnin a 408ci with a 101 on it, he has since switched to a twin turbo set up. and lynch i think was around the same but now he's runnin i think a 460-490ci motor with twin 88's on the car.

Me to, but the viper is still on IRS with 6 speed, while the Vette has a 12 bolt and a auto. Would be a bad *** race.

the 6-speed viper has only gone 7.98. the one i'm speaking of is silver and automatic. rumored to also have a live axle swap but i've never really seen solid proof that it is or isn't.
