yea it is supposed to blend, when you save it as a jpg it might look fine on your end but if some one else has a different bg color it is going to look off! The effect that it is supposed to give is that your car is sitting in the forum. A PNG will make it look that way nomatter the color of the bg. I leave all the sigs that I make hosted in my account so feel free to just link it from there!

Wow! Some nice work in here. I could use a little update to my sig. I have no artistic or photoshop ability. Anyone want to help out? Here's some stuff for inspiration, and also my current sig.

Sig? somebody wanna try to make me a sig? i had one, but sold that car....i've tried several times myself, but they come out looking extremely amateur and like i did them on MS Paint 
i'd like to see something with a cool background or some kind of special effect(s). i have GIMP, but am having difficulty mastering it. i'm used to my old pirated version of Photoshop

hey snootch desaturate the layer with the berger panel then adjust the brightness and contrast!
To desaturate press Shift+Ctrl+U and then to get in to the brightness/contrast go to Image>Adjustments>Brightness/Contrast

If you want just the car by its self try and get a high res pic of the car from the size but you have to be able to see all the wheels so make a ground level pic, of squat to take the pic.
