Thanks burnzilla, my thoughts exactly. There is an lt1tech, but it is weak and there are tonsss of LT1s on here, even an LT1 section.
Also the rear must be dropped because of the system in it, and to be honest I've never noticed it
I mentioned to my boss that I was hunting for a new car after my Z was taken from me (long story, thanks to my bank being a bunch of idiots and letting a kid pay off my loan and take the title). He mentioned that one of his buddies had a car that was very well taken care of that has been sitting for 2-3 years. Wanted 12k for it as is.
Went and looked at it and sure enough in excellent shape, just dusty. A fresh dose of Mobil 1, a slight wash job, and a couple dollars worth of interior cleaner and she is shining.
Love it more every day.. can't wait to get another fast car though
EDIT: Also the system isn't just a muddy sounding boom boom. I work for a stereo shop and this is probably the best I've heard. My boss did all of the work several years ago, and it is still working good. Center channel speaker under the dash pad and tweeters in the pillar keep the stage up high. A Rockford Symmetry eq is molded in to the center console "cd holder" to keep things in line.
The system may be for sale, I'm going to build something to represent our shop. I CAN PROFESSIONALLY RE-VINYL IT TO MATCH YOUR INTERIOR, SO IF YOU ARE INTERESTED LET ME KNOW YOUR INTERIOR COLOR! Subs, amps, box, and cover plate would all go together. They are JL W6 which are excellent subs, I'll find out what amps.

You all can share Burnzilla's opinion, and it makes me no difference, but it IS the moderators who usually move threads like this to where they belong. Ever since I have seen them move ones similar to this it has put a bug on my shoulder on others that post like it.

Personally I have a grudge against LT1's, but I love a clean 96-97 SS. Wanna send me the plate frame when you remove it? Ill make it right at home.

I actually meant to post this in new members/greetings where I notice a lot of people post their new cars. Oh well it is home here now.
Thanks for the compliments guys. I really wanted a black 97 SS but I just couldn't find anything that was in good shape and not torn up. This green is really a nice color when it is hazy or dark. I didn't like it at first but it has really grown on me.
WS6 - schmidt has it for right now since his car is pretty fast. If he ends up keeping the one he currently has I'll send it to ya.

I have a Magnaflow catback sitting in my garage that I took off my old car. I think I am going to just cut off some length of the tubes and do turn-downs though, I want the car to stay as stock as possible and I love how it sounds.
