Pro Mod Stratus

Sounds bad ***. When you have a huge shot of nitrous like he does is that why he has to purge so much?

purge isn't to get the air out of the lines for them, its to control bottle pressure. They don't have heaters or anything else like that in those cars. They heat the bottles up before the run and then purge them down to the correct pressure when they get to staging. After the run they will put a new completely full bottle in it so no worries of ever running out

my question is why is that car not running on a pro tree?

I know at the track that I work at if they are test and tuning we dont change the tree unless they specifically ask for a different tree. Could be.

Lets get back to the vid. I wish there was a Pro Mod or a Outlaw race somewhat close to me. Id love to see some of those cars in person.

It appears as though it was a shakedown pass for that car. They may have been testing out a new nitrous setup, or something along those lines. NOrmally, a short (2-3 second) purge is plenty from what I have seen. Correct me if I am wrong.

Anyways, badass car. Leaves real nice.
