International Race of Champions, better known as IROC, is an auto racing competition, promoted as an equivalent of an All-Star Game or The Masters. Drivers race identically-prepared stock cars set up by a single team of mechanics in an effort to make the race purely a test of driver ability.

Too bad IROC is dead. It was best in the 70's and early 80's with Porsche and Camaro running a mix of ovals and road courses.

The IROC Trans Am's are good looking cars though, no doubt.

But, this is my favorite F-Body racecar:

I disagree. Function>form, especially when its a race car.

For many, that is what makes "looks" relevant.

Why do you have a picture of your seats, for example?

But, this is my favorite F-Body racecar:

Which British series/class is that running in?? Is it a tube frame/Trans Am race series chassis underneath?
I agree with the 2nd gen Camaro IROC cars being cool, especially when they were using the real Minilite wheels on them!!
BTW; the last IROC series TAs (shown in original/first post) were actually short wheelbase tube framed chassis stock cars.

British GT Championship. It's an older picture, I don't know all the details, but there was a thread on here a while back where I posted this and some additional info was added-search isn't working right now however so...
