I just showed the video to my friend who has an 05' GT that he is thinking about S/C'ing and he said "something's gotta be wrong with that mustang"

I said yeah it's a ford.

350rwhp is equal wether it's N/A or S/C'd

Just a lot cooler when it's N/A and 25k cheaper

I don;t understand why you would even race to that high of a speed. it's not like your cars trap that high??? why not just race to maybe 115?? thats about all your car could possibly trap with those mods...

Straight off the Roush site.
"The number 427 has been intertwined in the Ford product line for many years, both as a car model and one of the most powerful and legendary engines in their line. It is only natural that ROUSH, as perhaps the best Ford engine builder in the country, is the company to reintroduce the number to the automotive lexicon using modern engine technology.

Based on the acclaimed ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang, this version is slightly less in content but includes 100 percent of the fun factor. The 427R horsepower package is highlighted by the intercooled ROUSHcharger* system which adds 115 horsepower and 65 lb-ft of torque to the base Ford 4.6L, 3-valve V8 powertrain system. The additional power upgrade comes via a ROUSH-engineered ECM calibration which has been specially-tuned to work in harmony with the different exhaust system used on the vehicle.

Further adding to the style and performance of the 2007 ROUSH 427R is a four-piece aerobody kit which includes a stylized front fascia, front chin spoiler, hood scoop and rear wing and ROUSH 18-inch cast chrome wheels with high-performance tires and the special 427R striping kit."

Maybe it was the stickers weighing it down. Seriously for being supercharged, and running almost dead even with a LT/lid A4 from a roll. Damn that sucks, I'd take it back!!

Damn , not to be downing Ford or anything but I think I'd be pissed buying a Roush mustang and then I couldnt even beat a LT/lid/exh A4 LS1 .... what a f'n turd , I'd be gettin my money back and go buy myself a termy if I wanted a Mustang .

Good for the T/A though , I'd be happy , how much do the Roush 427Rs cost?

Yeah pretty much I would get an 03/04 cobra if it was a Ford or maybe a Mach 1 would be nice because its quick and N/A. But they don't respond to mods as well as the LS1.

To add insult to injury, the car isnt put together very well. Anyone notice the hood buckling from the air pressure. Nice big gap between the fenders and the hood.
