So is this SOB still your friend? Have you talked to him at all about it?
As soon as he gets out of jail, I'd beat his *** senseless, get all the money you can from his insurance, and then sue him personally. What an ***. Seriously, if a friend can blatantly disrespect your property like that and then try to flee, he isn't much of a friend at all.
I value my friends with the highest regard, but if it came to something like this, he'd be getting the hammer.

That sux man I let my bro borrow my car 1 day and he comes back like 3 hours later with 3 bent rims flat tires broken rear axle and some other miscellaneous bs curbed it at about 40mph on a 6"curb. I was kinda of good lucky though for me because i needed new rims new bumper cover and my posi was blown out in the rear before he did that so all in all i came out ahead i guess. Just 1 more reason to love full coverage.

Got an estimate from a chevy dealer in town.. he got tired of counting after 13,500 but said he could have easily gone up to 20.
Good thing I fixed my DD today. 93 Jeep 4.0, sucks going from 250rwhp to 100rwhp. Not to mention it feels like I'm driving a brick.

i think if you removed the hatch and bumper and lights and see how bad it really is...ive seen worse fixed on regular z28's...to me it looks bad but i think underneath your goana find its not totally loss, you can get new wheels on here the hatch and lights and bumper...the 1/4 panels are the problem

Man that sucks big time! I did the same damn thing to my car, it was a 94 z28, with a 383 in it! well like he said get a ls1, now im drivin a 99 ss, good luck man!!!

damn man, if that ever happened to me, there would have been a LOT more blood all over the place.
but then again, no one ever drives my car but me. the only other peole who have ever driven my car (with the exception of the guys doing inspection stickers) were my brother (who owns a 95 Z28), my mom, my dad, and my stepdad.....and every time, i was in the car with them.....and so it shall remain as long as i own it.
