I don't care how fast you shift, you're not gonna continuously pull on a ~375rwhp Mustang with only 268rwhp and 3.23s. I'd love to run him myself, if he were anywhere around here. Cuz that Mustang in the video would be a mid-high 12s car with a retard driving it, and would trap quite a bit over 110mph. And he isn't touching either of those numbers.

A new-edge GT with bolt-ons and an 8lb blower is gonna be sitting right around those power numbers. I've seen 400rwhp+ from bolton/blower GTs, and they can't run boost much higher than that on stock internals.

The mustang in the vid is stock with a blower. Hes no where near those #'s his trap is 107, and hes probably around 320rwhp. A 02 GT with LT's bolt on's @ 9psi is at 356rwhp 368rwtq. He trapped 108. Again this in in Tucson 3100ft lol This isn't about them being able to handle more boost, its about what there at NOW. I wouldn't mind running you, but I had my share of bolt on GT's and its no race lol. Not trying to talk ****, just telling you about my experiences,

Ok... so he trapped 107mph in the same conditions you trapped 104mph. You walking away from him like that still makes absolutely no sense to me. But whatever. This is one of those pointless arguments, because this is the internet. And unless I plan on driving my car to visit my sister in Los Angeles this summer and making a detour, we're never gonna get anywhere.

What's the LT1 weigh? Any weight reductions? Don't need alot of rwhp if you don't have any weight. -Mark

I agree, what i think are fast fords are kb or whipple cobras, and any mustang w/ a built motor and a giant turbo or s/c. just my opinion on what i see on the street.

Thats right, powershifting will give you anywhere from 1-3 car lengths depending on the other driver.

Maybe he has a set of gears. Only explanation for a stock car to rip through gears like that.
