I wouldnt say he got owned either... From a roll he was pullin on the bike. From a dig, well...you said it. He was on drag radials on the street... Im sure traction was an issue and he wasnt launching the car. Looks like a few guys out having some fun. Not breaking/abusing their cars. Fact is...his car hung WITH an R1 when he was taking it easy. As others have said, Ide like to see an in car vid with him beatin on it and ripping the shifts!

That was a bad *** vid none the less. However, if I were the driver, and the camera person was shining a light in my eye at 100+ I think a punch in the head might be coming. LOL.

Awesome cars/bikes!!!

I raced a ZX-6R, he pulled 3-4 lengths on me by 100mph and got my *** handed to me (ofcourse). But to be able to keep up with an new R1 and taking your time doing so is bad ***.

He wasnt shining a light at the guy that was just the night vision..........thats what it looks like............

That camaro is a bad ****, and I sure am sick and tired of people who dont own boosted, high hp cars saying that they should rip the **** outta the gears and saying " man that guy shifts slow"............There is plenty of reasons why people dont shift at WOT when their **** is making damn good power.........When you go through a couple of transmissions and motors maybe you'll understand the reason for taking your time during shifts............. I mean if you ALWAYS rip gears at WOT you might miss every once in a while right due to human or mechanical error..........Well if you do and your not in a boosted car no big deal right for the most part..........miss a gear in a car making upwards of 600 or more on boost and theres a pretty good chance somethings going to be making a noise that shouldnt.........

Uhm... yes, R1's are the slower of the Jap liter bikes. How do I know? Uhm, I've ridden gixxer 1k, 10R, R1, and 1000RR Extensively, so I'm not bias. The only thing that Yamaha has for them IMO are looks.

In straight line acceleration and cornering, the R1 is the slowest of these liter bikes. Want more proof? Here are the local 100 mph bikes from 2006 @ 2700 elevation show me where the yamahas are.. please... prove me wrong.

Now for #2, I'm not saying that camaro was slow. Not once did I say that, here is what I did say (I'll reiterate so it might be easier to understand).

There have been mutliple posts where people have "annihilated" many 1k street bikes. I have to call BS on 99% of these. Here, in this post, we have a pretty damn fast turbo'd camaro on slicks not being able to keep up with a 1k. You can make the excuses you want, but that takes away from the point. 80% of people that loose make up reasons why the lost. Take imports for example, You have a bigger engine, you better win. I haven't installed my cold air intake.. bla bla bla..

It's simple physics kids HP to weight ratio.

DYNO Numbers of a couple of my vehicles, not over rated manufacture's numbers

05 GSX-R 1000 - 148 RWHP weighing 550 pounds with driver = .26 hp per pound.

00 Pontiac WS6 with 150 shot of NOS 430 RWHP weighing 3440 pounds with driver = .125 hp per pound

My WS6 would have to have had 894 HP to keep up with that bike IF I could get it to the ground. Bikes don't have the problem of getting the power to the ground if you know where to place your ***.

I'm not dissing the car at all... I'm telling the other people that say they beat 1000 cc bikes all day long, that here is a video saying that they're full of ****.

I ran a 10.3 @ 138 mph on the 10R, without a strap, not extended on Pilot Power tires. Thus saying you would have to have a 10 second car to compete with that, right!?! Right! You shouldn't be able to argue with TRACK NUMBERS. God people, get off my *** and think about things before you jump to conclusions.

I agree with you! when you have something with that much power under boost spray whatever you really dont want to beat the gears to hard especially on a stock tranny enless you dont care and dont mind rebuilding or upgrading and then finding someone to tow your *** home lol.
