GT-500KR pics...
Atleast ford got it right the second time around. they claim that the kr is faster thansthe z06 but I dont think itsa going to happen. The regular gt500's were selling for 65K. Thats 20K over invoice. I know becuase my friend owns one. So what is a GT500 worth when now there is a better car called the GT500KR So who buys a heavy 500 hp mustang when you can have a lightweight supercar called the z06. For the same price. What do you guys think. Maybe im just heavily biased toward GM?

I like it. I'd like to see one blacked out with no stripe.
Its GT500KR looks are further augmented with Super Snake badging and blacked-out head and taillamps -- the whole package looks just menacing. Appropriate, when you consider it'll be available with up to 725 supercharged horses underhood.
The Gt500KR only has 540 hp. motortrend tested the gt500 with 500hp and ran high 12's at 112mph. I dont think 40 more hp is going to make it drop 1 second and gain the 10 mph that the zo6 has it covered by. I saw a stock Z06 run 11.44 at 124mph at National trail raceway. Come on lets be realistic. Look in the latest motortend or car and driver the GT500kr has 540hp. Who knows about the corvette ss that is coming out. I believe its next year 650 hp supercharged LS7 With a 100% carbonfiber body. Good luck catching that one ford.

I think that the KR and Super Snake might give you guys a good run for your money though. A pulley change and a tune will open this baby up alot.
Though I still think that they did it completely wrong and being a mustang owner my self I think the KR is sick but done wrong.
With the arrival of the blue devil coming they should of put the KR on a HUGE diet. The newer stangs are tanks compared to the terminators.
