I am slowly learning photoshop. But my mom is a training consultant and is going to hook me up with a 3 day photoshop class for free. So hopefully I will be able to start turning out some modded pics soon

Just made a mask of the paint in multiply , set a white color overlay to 'linear burn', and then adjusted the levels curve at 3 points, added some green and a little blue, added contrast. Depending on the color you may need to make a few layers with different properties to get it looking right.
