I've never used photoshop before I got it and I picked it up after a couple of weeks. I have Photoshop CS2 and there's TONS of tutorials online that cover just about everything. And if you want to go more in depth, I picked up a book called Adobe Photoshop CS2 one-on-one by Deke McClelland that was helpful.

If you don't want to pay and don't want to download PS illegally, you can get GIMP. It's a freeware open source version of PS.

Transmaro, it's easy. There are free tutorials on the web in lots of places. I use the magic wand option and adjust how specific the color choice is to select items. Works good!

^select your car go to image>adjustments and there are a few different ways to change the color. Myself I would desaturate it then go to hue/saturation (click colorize) and just experiment.
