we are closer to 1k than we are to 500 and with 12 degrees timing I can run the car right now on 87 octane... with the bigger injectors, 108 octane and about 10 degrees more timing we should start to see the HP go up...we haven't turned the boost up yet, it's running off wastegate right now.

I am impressed with how fast it spooled. A turbo that size usually has serious lag. Way to go. Makes me rethink the turbo route.

well you also have to consider its being pushed by 418ci and it was only 11psi.

When are you coming back down to RPM for your final tune? I want to feel the turbo blast from this ride.

I went back down yesterday, but still had to leave it...we put the bigger injectors in and now we are maxing out the maf....so I'm going to have to go speed density, also I'm going to put a smaller wastegate spring in, because 11-12psi will be a bit much to ride around on, so I'm going to put in 3psi spring...maybe it will be finished next week or two.....

Just because you max out the maf dosn't mean you have to go to speed density!! Mine is maxed out at a certain rpm and I still use it! it make's over 800rwhp also. Alot of shop's still use the maf on high hp car's even when the maf is maxed out.

mine is maxing at 3500-4000 rpm and it's having a stumble as you are opening the throttle....to get the stumble out and start laying the pipe down, I think it's the only way to go....we have called other shops, ie texas-speed, speed inc, etc. and they came to the same conclusion.....I will order mine tomorrow....
