at about 40 sec. is loud as hell so turn it up. and when it zooms in at i think about a minute you can see the rings around the shuttle breaking the sound barrier. im gonna have to make a trip to see something like that.

It is awesome to see the night launches. It lights up the sky just as the sun would, we live about 45 miles from the Cape. Even from our doorstep you can see the glow of the SRBs as they fall back to earth.

Certainly a luxury of living in central florida. Night launches are INSANE. You see the sound literally comming at you across the water as it ripples then bam!

As u could see, it looks like the crack of dawn when that thing goes off at night.

Always amazing to watch. It's hard to comprehend the amount of power and speed being produced in that short amount of time.

If you have never heard a sonic boom make it one thing you do before you die. Its an awesome thing.


I used to live in TX and when shuttles would come in from the west to land in FL we would get an awesome plasma trail. I LOVED watching it.
