Question Good run

Hunter02SS:

I know you said that you are running the stock 10 bolt, what gear are you running, 3.42's or 3.23's?

Thanks

What you running on the ZR1 wheels? BFG's? Surely not Nitto's?

I MAY make Cruising the Coast....Waiting on the trans to come back from CPT, then off to Ed Wright. I need some timing pulled out. Detonates when the converter locks up.

SOB is LOUD aint it....I am getting too old for this stuff.

The ZR1s are actually empty right now. The car didnt sound that loud. It was glad to see another real street car riding around though. We can pull some timing out and move the lock-up. Ed likes it low which you can't do on that kind of setup. I have a few more tricks as well

Soon as I get the trans back in I will ring your bell. Should be next weekend I hope.

What wheels/tires do you have on the car for street driving? I hope these BFG's do ok on the street after it is all sorted out.
I have only stood on it twice, from 2nd gear they did good. 1st gear it is hunting a ditch LOL. 325/50 is the biggest tire I can fit, M&H could be an option.

Thanks Mike, I will call you.

Thats usually the case on most of the blower ones but the turbo setup is a little different, it doesnt have the air to water intercooler anymore so it doesnt get heat soaked as some of the blower setups which are just HEAT BOXES sitting on the motor.

Car has 804 RWHP, other car has 922 rwhp, they both had halfway decent traction, not sure what you expected?

When I read the camaro was on nitto dr's...and then watched the vid and saw how well he hooked... I imediately said those cars aren't making that much power or they aren't on full kill. Then I read all the posts. Wow... I seriously would have bet my left nut that those dr's wouldn't hold that much power from anything less than an 80mph roll. Even then I would be skeptical!!! That is truly amazing. Nice vid!!!

They were betting that I wouldn't of hooked as well also. For some reason they hook pretty good. They were hazing the whole time but it was gripping good enough.

????????????? READ STOCK 10 BOLT, 6 Speed, Nittos, stock LCA's, stock Panhard Rod and as he already said his passes were with the auto on a bit less boost. You dont build a 922 rwhp 6 speed car and just RUN the numbers at the track automatically. It's gonna take some work and time.
