That Z06 moves. With the Vindicator cam in there and your driving skills that car should fly!

At first on the GTO race I thought it was looking bad for the GTO, until I saw 408cid and twins boasting 800hp, then I saw the race and was really surprised. That GTO should have moved a little better than that I do believe.

 

I'm pretty surprised that a TT 408 GTO lost to that Supra. Slick cars though!

 

thanks man... the gto just put down 1040rwhp on the race gas tune and more timing, i would think MORE then enough to pull mikes supra...but the GTO's tranny just went kaboom so we wont know for a little bit...

 

Actually its not surprising at all. GtO's are slower than you would think because they are so heavy. 4000lbs for a base model... now throw in amenities and a tt kit with supporting mods and you have a 4200lb car. A friend of mine with a TT gto was chasing and filming two other cars race. I just found out he was making 712rwhp at the time. I was only making 550whp and we stayed locked out the whole race until he missed 6th and I went flying by. He's now making 800rwhp with 840lbs tq. I've looked at the car before. It's stock, he'll let you look at it any time you'd like.

The GTO has a 9 inch and a Fbody suspension / torque arm setup. I don't think they have it dialed in right yet. Things change a lot when you add 700+ pounds.
