God damn!! That gas station cam was crazy. A good friend of mine was in an accident not too long ago on his bike. A chick pulled out in front of him from a side street.
Tahnk god he's alive. Although he did sustain major injuries, broken femur, broken arm, dislocated shoulder (opposite from broken arm), concusion, lacerated lung, lacerated gall bladder, and something with one of his kidneys.

Pretty scary stuff right here. Some of my best friends back home have bikes CBR and whatever (I dont really know much about bikes), but I've heard horror stories from their accidents, people not looking where they are going and doing stupid ****. My buddy rick ran into some bitch opening her door on the street in traffic and he spilled real bad. Like WTF was that dumbfuck doing going through that red light all slow like that?? Rediculous.

Pretty powerful stuff there, When I see bikes on the highway or street I'm always aware of where they are and keep at least 5-6 car lengths away from them.

Man... Why I don't want to get a bike. But I probally will eventually. You just have to be really aware since a lot of people aren't looking out for you, even then it's still a risk riding on the street.

BTW, I'm pretty sure the song is by Johny Cash

Lost a good friend this year and a very close call with another friend 3 months before that.

I have owned and my wife has owned in the past. But just cant seem to get back into them.

I do miss them. But it is just to risky.

When i rode my bike usually i would always honk my horn if i even thought a car was going to pull out. Also i always thought to myself while riding what would i do if (insert scenario) happened. Usually i tried to make sure i had room to pass or whatever if a car decided he wanted over. Now 18 wheelers i always passed them as fast as possible bc they cant see a car most of the time much less a bike.

Bikes are fun, You can be the safest rider in the world.. But what if you run into the worst driver in the world. I only had one motorcycle accident and that was due to someone else cutting me off. I have been wanting another bike but its not worth the risk since I have a family now. Anyone one who owns a bike be safe.

I've ridden since I was a child. I personally know 2 people in the past year who have died on bikes. Makes the decision to keep riding much more difficult. I just try to keep from using it as a commuting vehicle and choose the places I ride for enjoyment.

**** I grew up driving around bikers. Had to follow my pop's and his buds w/ the trailer, whenever they went on long rides. I have seen people do some fucked up **** to riders and not even care that their actions, or lack there of could have cost that person their life.
I make it a point to ALWAYS give riders space, allow them to pass, etc. I have even blocked for them on a few occasions, and almost takin a hit to my car.

Very moving film, great post.- a new favorite bookmark. I have several pics and stories saved ( some from here ) and whenever I hear someone talk about getting a bike I show them these things in hope that if they do get a bike- no matter how well you can drive your bike- someone else will hit you. And yes, I as well stay away from any biker on the road because if they wreak I couldnt live with the fact of running them over and killing them.
Most people unfortunatly do not think about this...

those kind of images and hearing about people dying all the time make me really turned off from getting a bike even though i really want one. A kid from my high school did stunts and all that on his bike and just recent was killed in a motorcycle accident, that kind of stuff hits you hard and makes you really question whether or not to get a bike.

I cant meet 1 person that doesnt have at least 2 bad bike accident stories. Thats why ive decided on selling my Harley. It breaks my heart but i cant even have fun on it anymore. To many people i know die or get hurt. Not worth it.
