None of my photos are touched up in Photoshop, but the 3 beach pics are all taken using shutter speeds, etc.. No flash on any of them.. A tripod is a must.. Those were taken sitting on a chair..

If you're shopping for a DSLR, keep in mind that MP isnt everything. The only thing that MP dictates is the size of prints you can make. In other words, you dont really need any more than maybe 8mp unless you are going to be making LARGE photo prints or posters. Remember this and it will keep you from spending extra money on something you dont need.
Heres a few shots i have taken, no post-processing other than resizing and maybe a little sharpening.


How did you get that lightning shot? That is one thing I want to start doing is some shots of lightning..
Tripod, 30sec exposure, aperature wide open. The lightning was pretty sporadic, so it was basically hit the shutter, and hope some lightning strikes. I got several good shots doing this. Heres another one.
