Built ford tough
Not suprised by that. My grandfather was a mechanic for Ford back in the 60's when those were new. When I was 16 I was going to buy a 67 coupe and he told me not to buy it if I planned on driving it daily. Said it would fall apart and they weren't that great back then new much less 21 years later..(this was 1988 when I was 16).
They are neat cars to show and look at but not what I'd consider a perfomance car like alot of Mustang guys think...unless you have a heavily modified one or a Shelby. Other than that they are nice to look at and I like them like alot of other classic cars.

Could have been a halfassed, (**** can't think of the term), but when a car is totalled on one end and the cut the car in half and weld on the same half of another car. Of even just the front clip since thats what broke off.
On a side note, aren't telephone poles designed to break as to cause less damage to vehicles that hit them? I've seen a couple hit by cars that are completely taken out.
Well...dont forget we are talking about a car back in the mid 60s. Crumple zones and crash zones werent exactly a top priority back then like they are now. So...yeah...hitting a pole from the side at 30 would probably cause some damage. That looks like a hit from a speed faster than 30 though...

It always makes me think twice about driving too fast.
Yeah I think light poles are more meant to fall over, like the normal residential ones and such. Seen alot of those fall and the cars suffering little damages. Does look like quite a bit over 30, like maybe 45ish
