My Dads New 2007 C6
Cam it? Yeah i wish, im having a hard time trying to convince him to just put an exhaust on it. If i want to cam a vette, i'll have to get rid of the T/A and get my own C6. Oh and i found the competitive driving mode with my brother on the first day. I was playing with the button and took off traction control, then i wanted to put it back on but when i saw competitive driving mode i said f*ck that im leaving that on.

Have any of you guys taken yours in to have the rear fluid changed, if its making the clunking noise? My dad and i are taking the vette in tomorrow morning to have it changed because its making the noise.

Yes, mine's a 6 speed manual and would make a horrible clunking noise at lower speeds (around 5k miles). Im not sure if they added more fluid or just replaced what was in there, but it did the trick and its been perfect since, about to hit 8k miles!

Well the TSB first had them draining the fluid and added a bit more than what they came with from the factory. Then some people went back with the noise so GM had them change out clutch packs if you came back a second time. But now from what i read on another forum they say the adding of fluid should fix the problem. But some vette owners believe its not the fluid amount but the fluid type thats causing the noise. Some have changed over to Amsoil 75-90 and haven't heard the noise since. I'll keep you guys posted on the outcome after the fluid is changed.
